How Are Young Reresented In The Film Attack The Block?

In this essay I am going to explain how the film ‘Attack The block’ represents young people.
In this film young people are perceived as rude. An example of this is when the main character (Moses) and the others mug a lady on the streets. This shows that young people don’t have respect for others and that they are hooligans. Another example that shows that young people are rude is the language they speak in e.g. swearing.
On the other in this film young people are also perceived as heroes. For instance when Moses saved the block from aliens. This shows young people as good and they are only trying to protect people. Another example is when they save the lady from the aliens who were attacking the police van.
Young people are also shown as very active. For example when then music starts to go faster the youths become faster and up paced.
By analysing this I have come to the conclusion that young people are shown mostly in a positive way and negative from the beginning.
